ScanQueue

ScanQueue is a QR virtual queue and waitlist tool for walk-in businesses and events. Guests scan a QR code at the entrance or counter, join the queue in seconds, and track their live position from their phone. Guests do not need to download an app. When it is nearly their turn, ScanQueue sends an alert by WhatsApp, SMS or browser push, so people can step away instead of standing in line, which helps cut no-shows and walkouts.

How it works

1. Print your ScanQueue QR code and place it at the door, the counter or the event entrance.
2. Guests scan the code with their phone camera, enter their details and join the queue.
3. Guests see their live place in line on their phone and can check it at any time.
4. Staff call, seat and check in guests from a live staff dashboard or the ScanQueue staff mobile app for iOS and Android.
5. Guests receive WhatsApp-first alerts with SMS as a fallback, or web push alerts, when their turn comes up.

Who it is for Restaurants and cafes can run walk-in waitlists at the door, so diners know roughly how long they will wait and can use the time to walk nearby. Clinics and service counters can show patients or customers their position in the queue and call them when they are ready. Retail stores, pop-ups and product drops can manage busy in-store lines and keep crowds orderly. Barbers, salons and other appointment-style service businesses can keep walk-ins organised. Events, festivals, exhibitions and brand activations can check guests in at entry points, including F1 and Grand Prix brand activations, holiday and Christmas experiences, and other crowd-heavy events. Venues with a maximum occupancy can use Live Capacity to count guests in and out in real time.
