Terms of Service

Listings

• You must own or have rights to list the product you submit.
• Descriptions and links must be honest. No malware, phishing, or illegal goods.
• Free path: put our badge on your product homepage for crawl, or wait in the review queue. Paid tiers skip both.
• We may unlist, refuse crawl override, or remove spam and manipulated listings.

Votes and ranks

• One upvote per signed-in account per project.
• Self-upvote is allowed.
• Upvotes stay open while a listing is public (launch day or after). Product of the Day ranks lock when the launch day closes (~09:00 UTC). Week and month standings use live vote totals for the launch period.
• Vote farms, automated voting, and coordinated fraud can get accounts and listings removed.

Badges and backlinks

The free homepage badge is an embed on your site. Dofollow from us follows that badge (or a paid skip-queue tier). Paid Featured is chrome on MakerHunt (pill, strip), not the homepage badge. Markup: /legal/badges.

Billing

• Launch SKUs (Premium, Featured) are one-time Stripe Checkout. An SEO Package may return later when operator review fulfill is ready.
• Sidebar Sponsor is a monthly subscription cancelable from Account billing.
• Refunds: contact support if payment failed or duplicated. We do not auto-refund after a live launch day. Stripe terms also apply.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account (Google or magic link). We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
